Memorial Day Weekend and Robbie's First Hair Cut!

Memorial Day weekend I went down to St. Peter to celebrate Dad and Paula's Birthdays. The whole family was there. I missed out on the camping fun with all the Groetschs but made it down on Sunday to do the birthdays and have a sleepover at Grandpa's. We had a blast and Robbie got his first hair cut too! WOO-HOO! He looks so different. Enjoy some of the fun shots I got of the weekend. All the kids with Grandpa Pat and Auntie Paula celebrating their birthdays! "See Paula, you try, It's FUN!""Don't you want to try Uncle Roger?" Getting very tired, snuggling with Great Uncle Roger... So before we left on Monday, we decided to give Robbie his first hair cut! He had such fine hair. Here we are getting ready to occupy him with anything while Paula cut his hair...we weren't sure if he was going to sit still. The Before..... Making sure that the clipper wasn't going to hurt him. Just checkin it out...

Birthday Party #2 with all the Mears'

On Sunday, we celebrated Robbie's birthday with my side of the family. Where does time go??? Thanks to all of my family for making the Trek up to Eden Prairie. Robbie was so excited to see all of you. He had such a fun day. He especially loved all the cake (see pictures below). He was a very lucky guy. He got some amazing gifts. Thanks again everyone for making Robbie's 1st birthday so memorable. Love you all!

Birthday Party #1 with the Olsons

We celebrated Robbie's 1st Birthday with the Olson Clan at our house. Everyone was there. It was great people, great food and really Good Times! Robbie made out with some great gifts. He is quite lucky to have such loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandmas and Grandpa. We feel very blessed. Thanks everyone for such a wonderful night! Our little man will be 1 soon!

What a beautiful spring day in Eden Prairie. It was sunny and in the 70's. It was a great day to take Robbie out in the new Pull behind cart for the bike. (Thanks Sievers!!) He loves it...just as long as he doesn't have to wear a helmet. As you can see in the pictures below, his first concern was to try and get the helmet off. Kent and I gave in about 5 minutes into the ride and took the helmet off. We rode to the park and tried the swings. He couldn't stand those either... oh well, we'll give it another try ..maybe he'll like them by the summer. :) I just can't believe how much he has grown and learned so many things. He loves pulling himself up onto furniture and standing. He's getting pretty gutsy, so we think he'll start walking within in a few months...WATCH OUT! He already gets into EVERYTHING!! He sure keeps us on our toes! LOVE YOU LITTLE MAN....our lives are so full now with the joy you bring every day! Check out all the fun pictures below.
